How do I access Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Technical Data Sheets (TDS)?

Silmid provides access to our 400,000 document library for free. Simply register on Silmid.com and when you search for the product you are interested in you can see the related Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets.

Can I access datasheets via Silmid.com?

As a registered user of Silmid.com you will be able to download SDS and TDS from the product detail page. 

How do I access SDS on the website?


Step 1 
Ensure you are logged in to your account. 

Step 2 
Navigate to the product you require a datasheet for, there are 3 ways you can do this; 

  1. Use the SEARCH box at the top of every page
  2. Navigate to the product via the MAIN MENU found in the header (Shop by category) 
  3. Navigate to the product via the BRAND found in the header (Shop by brand) 

Step 3 
Once you have found the product you require a datasheet for you can access the datasheets by clicking on the link Data Sheets at the top of the page and it will scroll to the section containing the data sheet documents.



Step 4  
Once you have clicked one of the options in step 3 simply select the relevant datasheet(s) which will open in a new tab where you can print or download a copy. 



(If no datasheets are visible check you are logged in,  If there are still no datasheets visible it's likely that datasheets are not available for the product selected) 

Tip: Make sure you have selected the PACK SIZE of the product you need the SDS for.

Note: You must be a registered user of Silmid.com to access data sheets online.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

This is the usual 16 part document that enables users to conduct a health and safety assessment prior to using the product.

Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

The term Material Safety Data Sheets or MSDS is no longer used and refers to the previous format of data sheet used in the USA. All data sheets are now described as Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Technical Data Sheets (TDS)

The Technical Data Sheet or TDS for short is a document that a manufacturer produces to advise on the usage of particular products and will include details of its properties, how it works and other useful information:

  • Colour, density, viscosity
  • Shelf Life
  • Mixing Instructions
  • Pot Life
  • Disposal Considerations
  • And more...

Selector guides and other documents will often be linked to a Product Detail Page on the website and provide useful additional resources intended to support users.

The datasheet I need is missing can you obtain one?

If the Product is listed in our catalogue and is missing a datasheet, please email the support team and request a new copy or version.

Note:  We are only required to supply data sheets to our customers of the products we supply. If you are not a customer and you need access to datasheets for products you have purchased elsewhere you should contact the company that supplied you.

If the product is not listed in our catalogue then you will need to request a quote for the product first from our sales team.
